Former Las Vegas anchor Jessica Moore is getting some prime time face time on the CBS show, “Madame Secretary.”

She is guest-starring in two episodes, starting Sunday (Nov. 3).

Moore spent six years in an anchor role at NBC affiliate KSNV-TV before moving to New York City three years ago as weekend anchor at WCBS-TV. She just signed a new three-year deal.

There’s another Las Vegas connection to the show. Erich Bergen, who starred in the Las Vegas show “Jersey Boys” and the film version, has had a main role in the show since it began airing in September 2014. He plays Blake Moran, policy advisor to Tea Leoni’s character, Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord.

Moore is married to Rehan Choudry, founder of the Life is Beautiful music festival. They have a son, Nico, who turns one in two weeks.

She fills in as weekday evening anchors and morning newscasts and also reports live in the field for breaking news.
