Gladys Knight, one of Motown’s first ladies of soul, honored with a “Happy Birthday” serenade from the capacity crowd at T-Mobile on Monday. It was initiated by Mark Shunock, one of the arena emcees for the Vegas Golden Knights. It was Knight’s 74th birthday. The pre-game ceremonies in The Castle, high above the ice, included illusionist Criss Angel and Lil Jon cranking the siren while hanging out with Carrot Top.
